Two incisions were made and sutures were Applied along with dermistic on wound no. 2.
The animal was examined after 48 hrs.
- Sutures were removed from wound no.1 (control) It showed gaping and presence of infection.
- Sutures were removed from wound no.2. It showed no sign of infection, edema or in durations and found healed.
Study two:- Test for Tensile Strength
- This rabbit was examined after 48 hrs of wounding (Control). The two linear wounds on right showed Gap & infection. Wound breaking occurred at 50 grm.
- Left side wounds were examined after 48 hrs, after the application of Dermistic. The wound showed complete Union & could with stand tensile strength up to 200 grm.
